Chargers bought here go live on the map.

MileUp is one platform for EV charging in the UAE. Buy platform-ready equipment from vetted vendors, have a certified installer commission it into your account, and let drivers find, book and pay in AED including VAT.

The revenue brings the site back for the next charger.

Live from the network

Counted by the platform itself and refreshed every minute. A connector only counts as available when its status is fresh.

Loading live figures

Each model and firmware has a signed compatibility sheet, so it registers to your site the moment it is commissioned.

Commissioning is where a charger joins your account

The handoff from box to network happens once, on site, with a certified installer. Nothing goes on the map until it passes.

  1. Scan and match

The installer scans the serial. Model and firmware are checked against the signed compatibility sheet.

  2. Test on site

Safety and connection tests run on the charger, with photo evidence attached to the job.

  3. Register to your site

The charger's OCPP identity is issued and bound to your organisation and site.

  4. Go live

Only once both tests pass does it appear on the map and open for bookings and payment.

Made for UAE car parks

Heat and concrete are what a charger here has to survive. Both are designed in, not patched on.

OutputConnector temperatureThrottle pointAlert

45 °C in the shade, hotter at the connector

Chargers report connector temperature to the platform, throttle output before heat becomes a fault, and alert your team. Every listing shows its operating temperature, and Gulf-heat rated models are marked.

Street levelBasement P2No signalStored on site, synced laterEdge gateway

Basements lose signal. Chargers keep working.

An Edge gateway on site runs the chargers locally when the link drops: sessions start and stop, bookings are honoured, and every meter value is stored until the server confirms it. Then it syncs in order, with nothing lost or counted twice.

Regulated prices, shown before you start

Public charging fees in the UAE are set by Cabinet Resolution No. 81 of 2024. MileUp tariffs follow it, and your price is fixed when the session starts.

  • Energy, idle, parking and booking fees are separate lines, all shown in AED before you start.
  • An FTA tax invoice with the seller's TRN follows every session.
  • Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. A hold is placed at start and only the final amount is captured.

Grow the network with us

The network grows through the people who supply it, wire it and run it.

  • Vendors and distributors

List chargers, Edge devices and accessories for UAE sites and fleets. Split payments mean you're paid per order, on a fixed cycle.

  • Installers and electrical contractors

Take survey, installation and commissioning jobs in the emirates you cover, with checklists, evidence and payouts in one console.

  • Charge point operators and brands

Run the platform and driver app under your own name, with your tariffs, your payment account and your TRN on every invoice.

Find, book and pay from one app

Every public station in the UAE on one map. Our network and roaming partners show live status and take bookings; other networks are marked view-only, so you know what you can do before you drive there.

  • Price in AED including VAT before you start
  • Reserve a connector before you arrive
  • A tax invoice after every session

The app launches with the charging network. The web map works today.

Questions site owners ask

What does Platform-ready mean?

The charger model and its firmware have a signed compatibility sheet with the MileUp platform, and a UAE conformity certificate is on file. At commissioning the charger registers to your site automatically. Items without the badge are labelled not platform-managed.

Can I buy a charger that isn't Platform-ready?

Yes. It works as a standalone charger, but it won't register to your account, show on the map, or take bookings and payments through MileUp.

How much does public charging cost?

Fees are set by Cabinet Resolution No. 81 of 2024: AED 1.20 per kWh for fast charging and AED 0.70 per kWh for slow charging, before 5% VAT. Idle, parking and booking fees, where a site uses them, are shown before you start.

What happens when a basement car park loses signal?

An Edge gateway keeps the chargers running locally. Sessions and bookings carry on, every record is stored on site, and the gateway syncs when the connection returns.

Do I get a tax invoice?

Yes. Equipment orders get a tax invoice from each vendor, and every charging session ends with an FTA tax invoice carrying the seller's TRN. Business invoices move to UAE e-invoicing (Peppol PINT AE) as it comes into force from 2027.

Who installs the charger?

Installers in the MileUp network are vetted for their trade licence, insurance and the utility and emirate approvals needed to connect EV chargers. You book them at checkout and follow the job from survey to commissioning.

Can we run the platform under our own brand?

Yes. Charge point operators and brands run the platform, consoles and driver app under their own name, with their own tariffs, payment account and tax identity.

Plan your first chargers

Tell vendors the site type, the number of bays and the power you have. Quotes come back in AED including VAT.
