Draft for legal review

This text is a working draft prepared for the MileUp launch. It has not been approved by counsel and is not yet in force. Bracketed notes mark what counsel still has to confirm.

1About these terms

These terms apply when you use the MileUp website, apps, marketplace, map, and booking and charging services. By creating an account or placing an order, you accept them.

For legal reviewContracting entity to be confirmed.

2Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account. Business accounts may add users with roles, and the business is responsible for them.

3Buying equipment

Vendors sell equipment and services on the marketplace. Each vendor is the seller of record and issues its own tax invoice. MileUp operates the marketplace and takes payment on vendors' behalf through a split-payment provider. Prices are in AED and include 5% VAT unless marked otherwise.

4Delivery, installation and returns

Delivery and installation options are priced before you pay. Return windows and conditions are shown on each listing. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

5Warranty

Warranties are registered automatically by serial number. Claims go through your order or the charger's fault record, and the vendor handles repair or replacement under its warranty terms.

6Charging and payment

The price, including VAT and any idle, parking or booking fees, is shown before you start and fixed when the session starts. We place a hold on your card at the start, capture only the final amount and release the rest. You receive a tax invoice after each session.

7Bookings

A booking holds a connector for the window shown. Booking, late-cancellation and no-show fees, where a site uses them, are shown before you confirm and charged only under that policy.

8Acceptable use

Do not misuse chargers, block bays you are not charging in, tamper with QR codes, or try to access other people's data.

9Liability

For legal reviewTo be drafted by counsel: limits of liability, force majeure, and the role of third-party operators whose stations appear on the map as view-only.

10Governing law

For legal reviewTo be confirmed by counsel: the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the competent courts.

11Changes

We may update these terms. We will tell you about significant changes before they apply.
